BonaVenture Bella Serra

Bella was our foundation chocolate bitch and all of our chocolates go back to her.  Actually some of our yellows go back to her which is something we learned when we bred Bella’s daughter Marie to a boy that was black and carried chocolate & yellow. Both yellows in that litter had lovely black pigment.  Color testing was not common back then.

Bella was a sweet but sometimes mischievous girl – she was always thinking which got her into trouble on a couple of occasions.  She was our goodwill ambassador. She loved everyone -including human, canine, & feline.  When another dog would come for a visit, she would take them for a customary butt tuck around the backyard – just once otherwise she never broke a sweat.
