AKC Labrador Stud Services
We offer on-site side by side and fresh chilled shipped semen using our health tested boys to approved girls with appropriate health clearances (Hips, Elbows, Eyes, Cardiac, DNA panels and D-Locus).
Stud Fee varies depending on the stud used – $2,000 – $2,500.
Stud Fee Options:
Option 1: Service fee $500.00. Balance is due when pups are whelped. No repeat stud services are offered with this option and no refunds of service fee. Remainder of the Stud Fee is due upon whelping 2 or more puppies.
Option 2: Fee paid up front. With Option 2, we offer *repeat breeding if the litter consists of fewer than 3 puppies. No refunds are given on stud fees. *Repeat breedings are good for one year and may be for the same bitch or a different bitch owned by you provided all health clearances are done. Devanley has the right to refuse a replacement bitch if she does not meet our qualifications.

Fresh extended
Semen is collected and extender using Pure Pup Extender and will be shipped to you via FedEx Express (Overnight) to either you or your veterinarian.
Two collections/shipments will be provided. Additional collections/shipments requested will be charged an additional $60.00 fee per collection to cover out time and cost in supplies.
As always, we do not charge extra for the first two boxes and extender.
side by side
You may bring your bitch here for insemination on site. We do require a current brucellosis prior to allowing your girl to visit. NO EXCEPTIONS! With a Side by Side, your bitch will not be staying with us. You will only visit for the breeding. We offer TWO Side By Sides for each breeding’ Additional Side By Sides at your request is $50.00 each.
Special arrangements can be made for IN-HOUSE DROP OFF (Board & Breeding). Current brucellosis is needed and additional costs will be incurred for boarding.
Frozen semen
Frozen semen is available only on Hank & Mack at this time. With Frozen, you can purchase straws for future use or you can purchase straws for current breedings.
How do I breed to a Devanley Stud Dog?
One
We will need you to request stud service by calling/texting 330.241.1114, emailing devanleyretrievers@gmail.com or a FB Message (Devanley Labradors & Goldens) with your inquiry.
We will also need you to complete the Bitch Information Sheet as well as sending us pictures of your bitch, her pedigree, and her OFA/DNA health clearances including her D-Locus.
We do require progesterone testing.
Two
Once we have approved your breeding, we will send you our stud contract and sign it. You will also pay our non-refundable service fee of $500 before shipment is sent.
Three
You will need to keep in touch with us while you are progesterone testing your girl. We will need to plan for FedEx shipment in adequate time for overnight shipping.
GUARANTEE
We offer a non-refundable service fee at the time of the breeding with the remainder of the stud fee when the litter is whelped. The Service Fee is due at the time of breeding or prior to the first shipment of semen. Payment can be made via Zelle or personal check. The remaining balance is due seven (7) days after whelping 2 or more puppies.
Two breedings will be fulfill the obligation of the Stud Contract with two certified-viable chilled semen collections or with frozen semen shipped which will be shipped to a licensed veterinarian chosen by the bitch owner or directly to the bitch owner. All costs associated with the purchase of the semen, the actual collection, all shipping fees, veterinary fees, and insemination costs will be the responsibility of the bitch owner.
